  3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. add cumin seeds and hing. let splutter. then add green chillies, onion and saute. then add chopped tomatoes and cook till soft. add turmeric, chilli powder, cumin powder and salt mix well. then add rice and dal. mix well.
  4. Add 6cups water and pressure cook till 5 whistles.let cool
  5. Then open the lid and mix well. drizzle 1tsp ghee on top. garnish chopped coriander and serve hot.
